ELEAGUE CSGO Premier 2017 – Invited Teams & Qualifiers

ELEAGUE has revealed the 12 invited CSGO teams to its upcoming tournament CSGO Premier 2017.

ELEAGUE is back with another tournament this September featuring 12 invited teams and additional four teams whom will be determined by open qualifiers from Americas and Europé/CIS. ELEAGUE have previously hosted two Counter-Strike events; the ELEAGUE Major 2017 and Clash for Cash.

Groups look as following:

Group A (September 8-9)
FaZe, Natus Vincere, G2, Qualifying team.

Group B (September 15-16)
North, fnatic, mousesports, Qualifying team.

Group C (September 22-23)
Cloud9, Virtus.pro, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Qualifying team.

Group D (September 29-30)
OpTic, Astralis, SK, Qualifying team.

August 26-27 is the dates set for both qualifiers, which features a single-elimination bracket and playoffs with quarterfinals and onwards played in best-of-three matches. Teams who wish to participate can register for the open qualifiers over at CEVO. All rules for the qualifiers can also be found on CEVO’s website.

Details such as tournament format, broadcast team and prize pool will follow the next couple of weeks according to Turner Sports. ELEAGUE CSGO Premier 2017 will be live streamed on Twitch and Youtube. The television channel TBS will have live coverage on Fridays.

Side note: the tournament will hold a prize pool of $1,000,000 according to http://wiki.teamliquid.net/counterstrike/ELEAGUE/2017/Premier.
