CS Summit 2 tournament winner odds
SK is the best team in the world, hands down. They brought home so many trophies last year they probably lost count, that’s how good they are. But, just like any team dominating the scene, they have their periods when they struggle a bit. It didn’t go their way at Eleague Major 2018; perhaps it was because of the fact they played with a stand-in, who knows? Heading to CS Summit 2 they’re back with boltz on the roster and we’re sure that they want to prove who’s the real number one team in the world.
The North-American team Cloud9 is on fire, they have never been this good and the recent win at the Eleague Major 2018 confirms just that. If they can keep up the good plays, they’re certainly, together with SK, one of the favorites to win CS Summit 2. A clash between Cloud9 and SK Gaming in the grand final would, of course, be a dream scenario. It will be hard to stop Cloud9, one thing they’ve previously lacked a tad has been gained with the win in Boston, which is confidence. Realistically we only see SK or NiP beating Cloud9 in current shape.
NiP is back after a shorter break, they didn’t attend the major last month since they didn’t even qualify. That might have given them some time to prepare and practice and it will be really interesting to see how they perform in Los Angeles, California. It was recently announced that Threat has walked away from his post as Coach and they guy replacing him will be Pita. So we might see new stuff from the ninjas at CS Summit 2. Even though NiP has a lot of fans they also have a lot of doubters, so the Swedish superstars are probably looking to prove the ”haters” wrong. We’re looking forward to seeing the ninjas back in action!
We really don’t see North winning CS Summit 2, they have no edge on rest of the participants other than the surprise factor due to changing players recently. However, swapping players that close to a tournament is also a problem since they won’t have any tactics and the communication in the team might not be in place either. We couldn’t decide whether we wanted to list North or Liquid as favorites so we ended up placing North here. With that said, SK, Cloud and NiP are the heavy favorites at cs summit 2, but teams such as North and Liquid have the capability to upset any of these teams on a good day.
